Christian Melby Bjørn

Christian Bjørn is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Department Manager for System Engineering at Nel Hydrogen since May 2023, overseeing a team of 13 and actively participating in project work. Previous roles include Engineering Manager for alkaline water electrolysis projects, Business Developer for subsea energy storage at NOV, and Brownfield Manager at Fjords Processing. Christian began a career in process engineering at Aker Solutions, where responsibilities ranged from leading engineering teams to designing MEG reclamation plants. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a degree from Sofienberg Tekniske Fagskole.
