Shawn Stolsig

Shawn Stolsig has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Shawn started their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Naval Nuclear Power and Submarine Officer Trainee, gaining specialized training in various subjects and operating a prototype nuclear reactor. Shawn then became a Nuclear Submarine Division Officer aboard the USS Maine, leading a team and ensuring the overall safety of the submarine. Additionally, they served as a Port Operations Officer, coordinating ship and submarine visits to the Navy port in Cape Canaveral, FL, and coordinating disaster response for the command.

After their time in the Navy, Shawn joined Cisco as a Product Manager MBA Intern, where they helped develop the hardware roadmap for the enterprise branch routing business. Shawn collaborated with cross-functional teams to propose a router hardware/software solution. Shawn then worked at Amazon as an Operations Manager, overseeing both reverse logistics and customer fulfillment. Shawn led a team and was responsible for outbound customer fulfillment.

Currently, Shawn is serving as the Senior Product Manager and Director of Product Management at Nellis Auction, demonstrating their ability to take on leadership roles and contribute to product management.

Shawn Stolsig earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy from 2004 to 2008. Shawn then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management between 2015 and 2017. In 2019, Shawn attended the PDX Code Guild to further their skills in full stack web development, completing the program in 2020.
