Edward Howey

Edward Howey is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Operations at GRNE Solar since April 2017, focusing on residential installations and occasionally engaging in commercial projects. In parallel, Edward holds the position of Regional Operations Manager at Nelnet Renewable Energy, leading operations across three Midwest locations. Prior to these roles, Edward contributed to project development and technical operations at Ailey Solar Electric, Inc., advancing residential contracts from sales to installation. Edward has also worked as a freelance video editor and videographer, along with experience in sales and golf course maintenance earlier in their career. Edward earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Audio Design and Production from Columbia College Chicago.
