João Lucas Simon

João Lucas Simon is a Data Scientist at Nelogica since November 2023, focusing on implementing Machine Learning methods, utilizing LLMs to create AI applications from unstructured data, and enhancing reporting and dashboard functionalities. Previously, João held internships in Data Science and Data Analysis at Lumens Atuarial, where automation of database queries and interactive map creation were key tasks. Additionally, João contributed as a scholarship holder at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul on projects involving clustering methods and time series analysis related to COVID-19 and influenza data. João is pursuing a degree in Statistics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, expected to graduate in April 2024.
