John Tatro (he/him)

John Tatro is a skilled Landscape Designer currently employed at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects since February 2023. Previous experience includes a Landscape Designer role at WRT, LLC from October 2019 to December 2022, and a Landscape Design Assistant position at Studio K8, where John designed residential landscape projects in Los Angeles and assisted with construction drawings and plant selection. John is a former member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, UC Berkeley Chapter, contributing to landscape design discussions and maintaining local vegetation. An internship at John Northmore Roberts & Associates provided experience in construction drawings and GIS mapping. John also demonstrated leadership as President and Team Captain of Cal Men's Volleyball, managing logistics and the budget for the team. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley and participated in the UC Berkeley Solar Decathlon Team, achieving notable success.
