Katie Smithson

Katie Smithson is a seasoned designer with diverse experience in landscape architecture and motion graphics. Since February 2019, Katie has worked as a Designer at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects. Concurrently, since July 2014, Katie has been involved with Man vs Magnet as a Designer, Animator, and Producer, creating engaging digital video content for a wide range of clients. Prior roles include Architectural Designer at Davis & Floyd, Inc. and Landscape Architectural Designer at DesignWorks LC, contributing to projects from 2007 to 2014. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, complemented by a course at the National Outdoor Leadership School in 2003.
