Anne Manning

Deputy Director, Learning & Engagement at NELSON GALLERY FOUNDATION

Anne Manning is an experienced professional in museum education and interpretation, currently serving as the Director of Education and Interpretation at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art since September 2015, where also held the role of Deputy Director. Prior to this, Anne was the Deputy Director for Education at The Baltimore Museum of Art from June 2007 to September 2015. Anne began a notable career at the Blanton Museum of Art at the University of Texas at Austin as the Curator of Education & Academic Affairs from January 2001 to May 2007, and previously worked as the School Programs Coordinator at Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College from June 1993 to January 2001. Anne Manning holds a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Italian Language & Literature from Smith College.
