Christi Delaroy

Christi Delaroy has gained extensive marketing experience throughout their career. Christi started as an Intern at KGNU Independent Community Radio and The Integer Group, building skills in writing, publicity, and communication. Christi progressed to roles at Barkley as an Account Manager and Assistant Account Manager, leading PR initiatives and managing events. Delaroy then transitioned to The University of Kansas, where they held various positions such as Associate Director of Marketing Strategy, Marketing Strategist, and Assistant Director of Communications. Christi'sresponsibilities included developing strategic marketing plans, managing teams, and overseeing social media and recruitment efforts. Currently, Delaroy holds the role of Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, where they continue to demonstrate their expertise in marketing and brand development.

Christi Delaroy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Strategic Communications with a minor in Leadership Studies from The University of Kansas in 2012. Christi then continued their education at the same institution, earning a Master of Science in Journalism with a focus on Integrated Marketing Communications in 2016. In 2010, Christi also studied French Language and Culture at l'Etoile: Centre de Langues et Vie Francaises. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
