Sangpen Chamnongpol

Sangpen (Penny) Chamnongpol possesses extensive experience in laboratory operations, microbiology, and research and development within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Laboratory Operations and Study Director at Nelson Laboratories Bozeman, LLC, Chamnongpol previously held key positions at Fluidigm Corporation, Microbiologics, Inc., Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Affymetrix, focusing on assay development, reagent transfer, and detection techniques. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Genetics from Ghent University, a Post-Doctoral degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from Washington University School of Medicine, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Microbiology and Medical Technology from Mahidol University.
