Colin Barrett

Colin Barrett serves as a Partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough since April 2024, specializing in complex commercial litigation and providing counsel to businesses and entrepreneurs. Colin has been a Distribution Committee Volunteer at the Foundation for MetroWest since August 2021. Previously, Colin held the position of Of Counsel at Preti Flaherty from September 2022 to April 2024, focusing on employment, real estate, business disputes, and professional licensing. Prior roles at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough included Senior Associate, where Colin defended against consumer protection and bad faith insurance claims, and Associate at Morrison Mahoney LLP, concentrating on professional liability and employment law. Early career experiences included a Research Analyst role at State Street and investigative work with the Office of the Bar Counsel and Suffolk County District Attorney.
