Rob Koury

Rob Koury serves as Of Counsel at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough since November 2024. Previously, Koury held multiple leadership roles at Republic Steel from June 2013 to October 2024, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, where operational efficiencies and data-driven performance metrics were implemented to enhance collaboration across departments. Koury also served as Executive Vice President for both Commercial and Human Resources, leading strategic initiatives that increased sales performance and negotiating collective bargaining agreements with major unions. Earlier in Koury’s career, experience included roles as an attorney at Littler Mendelson and Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, focusing on labor and employment law. Educational credentials comprise a JD, summa cum laude from Cleveland State University College of Law, a Master of Education from Cleveland State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Bowling Green State University.
