Dan Nelson, Jr. has held various roles throughout their work experience. Dan started working as the President & CEO at Nelson Schmidt Marketing & Communications, Inc. in 1995. In 1999, they became the President of ec-connection. In 2002, they became the Co-Owner of Waldbillig & Besteman, which was later integrated into the Nelson Schmidt Inc. brand. In 2006, they formed the East Wisconsin Avenue Owners Association LLC and became its President & CEO. In 2014, they started their own business, 600 EAST Cafe & Business Center, as the proprietor. Their work at Potrero Hill Photography as the Owner was from 1991 to 1995.
Dan Nelson, Jr. attended Whitefish Bay High School from 1982 to 1986. Dan then went on to study at Stanford University from 1986 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. Dan later pursued a Master's degree in Biological Sciences at Stanford University from 1991 to 1992. Dan Nelson, Jr. also obtained a certification as a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International.
