Jin Hong Kim

Jin Hong Kim is an experienced data scientist and urban planning professional, currently serving as an Associate Data Scientist at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates since December 2021. Previous experience includes a Data Engagement Internship at Numina, where integration of sensor API and analysis of street-level data metrics were key responsibilities. Jin also interned at The Municipal Art Society of New York, creating visualization tools and preparing reports, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia GSAPP Housing Lab, focusing on spatial analysis and community engagement. Additional roles include research assistance at the Architecture & Urban Research Institute and design work at John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects. Jin holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California.
