Shailesh Chitre

Shailesh Chitre has a strong work experience in the technology and business development field. Shailesh started their career at Dataline & Research Technologies as a Product Manager in 1989 and then moved on to Vans Information Ltd. where they served as the Vice President from 1993 to 2000. Shailesh then joined Friday Content Solutions as the General Manager, focusing on business development, alliances, and operations from 2001 to 2003. Shailesh further expanded their expertise by becoming the Head of Business Development at Asian CERC Information Technology Ltd. where they achieved significant market penetration for technology solutions for web and algo trading. From 2008 to 2015, Shailesh worked at NSEiT as the Vice President, leading all verticals with a revenue of over 100 Cr. Most recently, Shailesh has taken on the role of Chief Business Officer at NCDEX e Markets Ltd. in 2015.

Shailesh Chitre has a diverse education history, with a focus on computer science and mathematics and statistics. In 1988, they attended the University of Mumbai, where they pursued a D C S T degree in Computer Science. The same year, they completed their studies at this institution. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1985, Shailesh Chitre attended Osmania University, where they obtained a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Statistics.
