Mehmet Seflek has worked in a variety of roles in the fields of data science, research, and economics. Mehmet began their career in 2010 as an Economic Research Analyst at ACTECON Competition & Regulation Consultancy. Mehmet then moved to Charles River Associates, where they worked as an Analyst and Associate from 2010 to 2014. From 2014 to 2020, they served as a Research Fellow at the Evidence for Policy Design Program at the Center for International Development at Harvard University. Mehmet currently serves as the Data Science Lead at neo.tax.
Mehmet Seflek received their BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. Mehmet then went on to obtain a Master in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School in 2014. Mehmet is currently in the process of completing their PhD in Business and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
