Stuart Laurie

Stuart Laurie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales engineering and solutions architecture, currently serving as Manager of Sales Engineering at Neo4j since December 2017, after progressing from Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to Team Lead. Prior to Neo4j, Stuart spent over 13 years at Smartlogic, where responsibilities included leading the technical sales operations in the USA, developing business cases, and implementing solution designs for clients. Earlier experience includes roles such as Senior Solutions Consultant and Taxonomy and Implementation Consultant at Smartlogic, where Stuart provided expert consulting and implemented search solutions for various projects. Stuart's career began at De Novo Pharmaceuticals as an Information Scientist, where significant advancements were made in integrating research data for better accessibility. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from the University of Reading, earned between 1996 and 1999.
