Alan Twaddle

Alan Twaddle is a skilled computational biologist with extensive experience in bioinformatics and data analysis. Currently employed at Neochromosome, Inc. since December 2021, Alan has successfully designed and built an automated DNA sequence analysis pipeline using AWS. Prior to this role, Alan contributed to New York University as a bioinformatician and full-stack developer, maintaining websites for researchers while leading data analysis in various biological applications. Alan's earlier experience includes a position at the University of Pittsburgh as a bioinformatician, where interaction with personal investigators and data analysis were key responsibilities, and a research assistant role focused on second generation sequencing analysis. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Computer Science from the University of Mount Union, where participation in several academic clubs was notable.
