Mauro F.

Mauro F. has a diverse range of work experience. Mauro started their career at Vigitech Corporation in 2011 as an Operations Engineer and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at Dr. Nasser Ibrahim Al-Rashid Orbital Vision Research Center, where they developed a process for fabricating custom orbital prostheses using 3D printing technology. Following that, they joined the University of Miami as a Researcher PhD Candidate from 2013 to 2017. During their time there, they optimized injection molding parameters for thermoplastic elastomers and epoxy resins and designed experimental procedures for nanoscale reinforcement of elastomers for biomedical applications. Since 2017, Mauro has been working at Neocis. Mauro started as a Hardware Engineering Manager and later became a Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering Ancillaries. Currently, they hold the role of Staff Product Manager at Neocis.

Mauro F. pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Miami. Mauro earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Mauro F. also obtained additional certifications. Mauro became a Six Sigma Green Belt through the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in January 2017. Moreover, in June 2015, they earned the certification of an Open Water Diver from Scuba Schools International.
