Rebecca Alter has been working in the field of occupational therapy since 2011. Rebecca began their career at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where they worked on an Orthopedic Trauma Unit. Rebecca was responsible for establishing treatment plans with objective and measurable goals, performing treatment procedures, and fabricating adaptive equipment. In 2013, they moved to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, where they worked on a spinal cord injury unit, providing comprehensive and integrated direct care to patients with varying spinal cord injuries. In 2014, they began working for AMN Healthcare as an Occupational Therapist. Later that year, they joined MedTravelers as an Occupational Therapist, working with a homecare agency performing evaluations to determine patient needs. In 2018, they began working at NEOFECT as a Clinical Manager and Occupational Therapist, providing clinical support for clients and the development team.

Rebecca Alter attended Bay Path University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist. Rebecca then attended Wheelock College from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Human Development and Family Studies, General, and Child Life Specialist. Prior to that, they attended Clark University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
