Ronald D. Green

Dr. Ronald D. Green, Ph.D. is the current Chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to that appointment, he was the Harlan Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University of Nebraska system. Dr. Green brings experience in genomics and animal production research to the Board, previously serving as senior global director of technical services at Pfizer Animal Health’s animal genomics business, a national program leader for the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service, and the executive secretary of the White House’s interagency working group on animal genomics. Dr. Green is a current fellow and past president of the American Society of Animal Science (“ASAS”), and has previously held leadership positions with the National Block and Bridle Club, U.S. Beef Improvement Federation, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, National Pork Boar
