Erika Palmaer

Erika Palmaer is an experienced professional in the field of genetic counseling and information systems, currently serving as Associate Director of Information Systems and Product Manager at NeoGenomics Laboratories since July 2018. With a strong track record of developing customer-focused product roadmaps and improving operational efficiencies within molecular testing, Erika has successfully launched multiple new products, including COVID-19 testing, and implemented significant cost-saving measures. Prior to NeoGenomics, Erika held positions at Ambry Genetics, ranging from Genetic Counselor II to Genetic Assistant, where responsibilities included variant interpretation, report writing, and system improvements. Erika holds a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Central Washington University.
