Kristen Rimaila

Kristen Rimaila is currently serving as Platform Manager at NeoGenomics Laboratories since February 2024. Prior to this role, Kristen worked as a Business Analyst at Astrix from November 2023 to February 2024 and held the position of Sr. Associate, Genomics at Alaunos Therapeutics from December 2020 to November 2023. Kristen's earlier experience includes multiple roles at NeoGenomics Laboratories, including Business Analyst, Clinical Laboratory Technologist II, and Clinical Laboratory Technologist I from February 2018 to November 2020. Kristen also served as a Research Associate at Gene by Gene focusing on mitochondrial NGS from January 2017 to January 2018, and as a Molecular Technologist at Baylor Miraca Genetics Laboratories-Mitochondrial from August 2015 to December 2016, specializing in clinical NGS confirmations using Sanger sequencing. Kristen gained clinical laboratory experience during a summer internship at Duke University Hospital in 2015 and completed a training program as a Molecular Genetic Technologist Student at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center from August 2013 to May 2015. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston.
