Ralf Huss

Ralf Huss, M.D., Ph.D. is Professor of Pathology and managing director of the Institute of General Pathology and Molecular Diagnostics, University Hospital in Augsburg (Germany), where he also chairs the Institute for Digital Medicine. Dr. Huss is board certified in anatomical, experimental and molecular pathology with more than 30 years of experience in histopathology, immunology, cancer research and oncology. Previously Dr. Huss held different senior positions in the pharmaceutical industry (Roche, AstraZeneca). He also serves as honorary professor at the University College Dublin (Ireland) and as lecturer of Nanotechnology and Biomaterials at the Faculty of Chemistry, Technical University of Munich (Germany). His research interest is mainly on the use machine learning and artificial intelligence in routine tissue diagnostics and biomarker discovery.
