Hector Acosta

Hector Acosta is a seasoned Life Science Expert and Compliance Consultant with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Since June 2017, Hector has been self-employed, providing specialized consulting services. Previously, Hector served in various roles at Mylan, including Director of Manufacturing Operations and Director of Technical Services, where contributions involved expertise in CAPA and root cause investigations, as well as pharmaceutical process improvement. At McNeil Consumer Healthcare, responsibilities included leading Technical Services and Validation for multiple solid dosage product lines. Hector also held the position of Technical Operation Manager at Cardinal Health, managing technology transfer and product scale-up processes across diverse product lines. Initial experience included roles at Ivax Pharmaceuticals and Raytheon, focusing on process improvement and validation projects. Hector holds a degree in Applied Science (Chemistry) from Interamerican University.
