Trevor Smith is an accomplished engineering and project management professional with extensive experience in the energy and petrochemical sectors. Currently serving as Project Director for NEOM Green Hydrogen Company since September 2024, Trevor is responsible for the development of a green hydrogen production facility. Previously, Trevor held various senior leadership roles at Sasol from February 1995 to August 2024, including Vice President of Project & Engineering Solutions and Vice President of Project Preparation, overseeing engineering solutions and project development. Trevor also acted as Project Director for significant initiatives such as the Mozambique PSA oil & gas production project and the Canada GTL Feasibility Study. Trevor's educational background includes dual Master's degrees in Project Management and Mechanical Engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable South African universities.

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is on a mission to make a carbon-free, climate-safe future a reality. We are building the world’s largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, providing humankind with a cost-effective solution that will accelerate the worldwide green hydrogen economy.
