Frank Somers

Frank Somers is an experienced project director currently working at NEOM since August 2023. Previous roles include serving as Directeur de Projet at BESIX from November 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities included the Gare Saint Denis Pleyel project in Paris, France. Between December 2015 and November 2020, Frank held the position of Senior Project Director at Larsen & Toubro, overseeing key projects such as the Head Iconic Stations Line 3 Riyadh Metro in Saudi Arabia and the Piramal Aranya high-end residential high-rise in Mumbai, India. Earlier in the career at BESIX from November 1997 to December 2015, Frank managed several significant projects including the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Golden Line metro section in Doha. Additionally, Frank has held roles as Tender Manager and Senior Estimator at Architect's Office Posson & Donck, following an educational background that includes a postgraduate degree in business management and a master's degree in civil engineering-architecture from KU Leuven.
