Jean Carstens

Jean Carstens is an accomplished Information Technology professional with extensive experience in program and project management. Currently serving as an Information Technology Program Manager and Project Manager at NEOM since July 2022, Jean has previously held senior roles at Old Mutual Limited from April 2013 to June 2022, including Senior IT Manager for Data Management, where Jean implemented sustainable Records Management practices and established a Data Stewards Network. Jean also worked as a Data Solutions Manager and Business Intelligence Manager, focusing on optimizing Business Intelligence processes and team growth. Prior experience includes serving as IT Finance Manager at Beazley, managing a global technology budget of $38 million, and as IT Procurement Officer at Accenture UK, procuring IT resources for global operations. Jean holds a B. Business Science degree from Stellenbosch Business School, obtained between 2000 and 2002.
