Pelqim Spahiu MSc CEng FIET CMgr FCMI is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and design management. Currently serving as an Engineering Design Manager for Transmission at NEOM since May 2025, Pelqim previously held a similar role at UK Power Networks from May 2013 to May 2025. Prior to that, professional experience includes positions as a Senior Electrical Engineer and Technical Lead at Atkins, and as a Senior Asset Policy Engineer at National Grid Transco. Pelqim's career began as an Electrical Design Engineer at Power Engineering Consultants Plc, after starting as a Research Assistant at the University of Pristina. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Measurements, Instrumentation, and Devices from South Bank University, London, and a BSc in Power System Engineering from the University of Pristina, along with a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification from Pearson and the Chartered Management Institute.
