John Tellew

John Tellew has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. John currently holds the position of Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Neomorph, Inc., a role they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of Global Discovery Chemistry at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) from January 2022 to September 2022.

From March 2014 to April 2022, John worked at GNF, first as a Group Leader and then as an Associate Director. Before joining GNF, they worked at Neurocrine Biosciences as a Principal Scientist from August 2002 to January 2008. In 2008, they also briefly worked at Nanosyn as a Senior Research Scientist.

John'searly career was at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they served as a Senior Research Investigator from June 1996 to July 2002. Throughout their career, John Tellew has held various leadership and scientific roles, showcasing their expertise in medicinal chemistry and global discovery chemistry.

John Tellew completed an AB in Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley from 1983 to 1986. John then pursued a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at UCLA from 1989 to 1994. Following that, they undertook a Postdoc in Chemistry at UC Irvine from 1994 to 1996.
