Laura Block has been working in the professional services industry since 2011. Laura began their career as a Manager and Pet Sitter at Chicago Pet Sitters in 2011. In 2013, they took on the role of Director of Development at Sharing Notes, where they connected young professional classically trained musicians with audiences who benefited from the transformative power of intimate, interactive live music performances. In 2017, they became the Individual Giving Manager at Housing Opportunities for Women (HOW). In 2018, they joined NeonCRM as a Professional Services Consultant. Laura is currently employed at Neon One, where they serve as Product Owner for Neon CRM, Senior Manager for Implementation, and Implementation Manager.
Laura Block has a diverse educational background. Laura obtained a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Performance Diploma from Roosevelt University in 2013, a Master of Music from Indiana University Bloomington in 2011, and a Bachelor of Music from Duquesne University in 2009. Her field of study for all of these degrees was Flute.
