Ying Sonia Ting

Ying Sonia Ting has worked in the field of computational biology since 2008. Ying Sonia began as a Visiting Scientist in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Washington's Goodlett lab in 2008. Ying Sonia then became a Graduate Student Researcher in the Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington's MacCoss lab in 2011. In 2017, they joined Neon Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology.

Ying Sonia Ting received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genome Sciences from the University of Washington in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Bioinformatics from National Yang Ming University in 2008, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Life Sciences from National Taiwan Normal University in 2006.
