Karen Godek

Karen Godek has a diverse and extensive work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Karen is currently working as the Vice President of Retail, Commercial & Strategy at NEON, where they are responsible for planning and delivering profitable retail buying and operations solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at INGENIUS INNOVATION LIMITED, overseeing the delivery of retail outlets and pop-up events. Karen also has experience as a CFO at Firebrand Experience Limited and Firebrand Live, where they managed global finance operations and provided guidance to the CEO and Board. Karen worked as a CFO at Live Nation, overseeing artist royalty advances and financial reporting. Before that, Karen was a Finance Manager at FremantleMedia, responsible for financial and management reporting. Karen began their career as a Financial Controller at Maintenance and Technical Management. Additionally, Karen has volunteered as an MCR Pathways Mentor, supporting young people by spending one hour a week with them.

Karen Godek's education history includes studying CIMA at BPP, earning an Association of Accounting Technicians degree from Brunel University London, and studying at UWE Bristol's International College for another Association of Accounting Technicians degree.
