Marion W Kago MBA, BBA, CPA (K) has extensive experience in finance and operations. Marion W Kago currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Operations for Neopenda and as a Strategic Advisor. From 2018 to 2022, they were General Manager Kenya at Penda Health, where they were responsible for the P&L, financial performance, operational excellence, team management, and building an energetic company culture. Marion W Kago was also Head of Finance at Penda Health. From 2016 to 2018, Marion was Finance Manager for The Boma Hotels, where they were in charge of the finance departments and was responsible for budgeting, planning, internal controls, and board reporting. From 2013 to 2016, they were Chief Accountant at Sportsview Hotel Kasarani. From 2011 to 2013, they were Chief Accountant at Hotel Waterbuck Ltd, where they supported the Managing Director in running the operations. From 2007 to 2011, they were Senior Accountant at Courtesy Hotels, Silver Springs Hotel & Green Hills Hotel, where they worked in various sections, including Food and Beverage controls, cost management, payables, bank reconciliations, and management reporting. From 2004 to 2007, Marion was Accountant and Administration Officer at 3n Sacco & NNUS Ltd, where they handled all accounting, human resources, and administrative work of the group including external audits and organizing AGMs.

Marion W Kago is currently enrolled in the Senior Management Leadership Program at Strathmore Business School (SBS), studying Educational Leadership and Administration, General. Marion W Kago is also enrolled in a Master of Business Administration program at Kenyatta University, studying Strategic Management. In 2021, they completed a Senior Management Leadership Program at IESE Business School, studying Leadership. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University, studying Accounting and Business/Management. In 2003, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant from Strathmore University, studying Accounting. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant from ICPAK.
