Mathieu Fournier

Mathieu Fournier has extensive work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Mathieu started their career in 2000 as a Formulator Assistant at Pharmetics Inc., where they were responsible for preparing and testing neutraceutical formulations. Mathieu then joined the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in 2006 as a Professional Analyst, where they conducted food analyses and optimized existing analytical methods.

In 2006, Fournier moved to the IRSST as a Professional Scientific, where they implemented an analysis methodology for amines and wrote reports on chemical and biological monitoring results. Mathieu then joined Pharmascience in 2007 and held several roles, including Specialist in Analytical Development for new and post-commercial projects.

Fournier's most recent role was at Neopharm Labs Inc., where they started as a Supervisor in Analytical R&D in 2016. Mathieu then moved up to become a Manager in the same department in 2017, overseeing ongoing projects and supporting operations optimization. In 2018, Fournier was promoted to Director of R&D and Scientific Affairs, where they provided scientific leadership and evaluated the efficiency of various sectors. Mathieu'smost recent position is Chief Scientific Officer, where they continue to provide scientific leadership at Neopharm Labs Inc.

Mathieu Fournier started their education at Collège Ahuntsic from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a D.E.C. degree in Technique en chimie analytique. Mathieu then pursued their studies at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Baccalauréat degree in Chimie. Continuing their education at UQAM, Mathieu Fournier completed a Maîtrise degree in Analytical Chemistry from 2004 to 2006.
