Giora Engel has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Giora is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of neosec.com, a position they have held since February 2020. Giora also serves as the Fraud Monitoring Task Force Chair at Financial Data Exchange, starting in November 2020.
From 2017 to February 2020, they worked at Palo Alto Networks as the VP of Product Management. During their tenure, Giora played a crucial role in introducing the award-winning Automated Behavioral Analytics to the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform.
Prior to that, Giora was heavily involved with LightCyber, Inc, which was later acquired by Palo Alto Networks. Giora served as the Founder, Chief Product Officer from October 2013 to February 2020 and as the CEO and Founder from July 2011 to October 2013.
Before their involvement with LightCyber, Giora co-founded and was the Co-CEO of MeterLive from August 2009 to July 2011. Giora also worked at BQR as the Director of Product Management from November 2008 to July 2009.
Giora's earlier experiences include working as a Researcher at Hebrew University from March 2006 to October 2008, where they specialized in various areas including computer vision, cosmology, astrophysics, and biophysics.
Additionally, Giora has experience as a Consultant at TACT Group from September 2005 to October 2008. Giora also worked in the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), holding positions as a Team Leader and Project Manager from May 2002 to September 2005, and as a Software Engineer from August 1999 to September 2005.
Giora Engel obtained a B.Sc degree in Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they attended from 2005 to 2008.
