Shmuel Banai

Shmuel Banai serves as the Director of the Division of Cardiology and Director of Interventional Cardiology at Tel Aviv Medical Center, a position held since January 2006. In parallel, Shmuel Banai is a Professor of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, where Shmuel Banai also holds the Walton Chair of Interventional Cardiology and leads The Nicholas and Elizabeth Slezak Super Center for Cardiac Research and Biomedical Engineering since 2014. Additionally, Shmuel Banai has been the Chief Medical Officer at Sanolla since April 2020. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a fellowship in Vascular Biology, Cell Biology, and Angiogenesis from the National Institutes of Health.
