Neeraj Joshi

Consultant Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center

Dr. Joshi graduated from the University of Rajasthan in 1995 and subsequently trained in Internal Medicine at Tribhuvan University and Bir Hospital to earn his MD in 1999. He was awarded the GP Acharya Gold Medal as the most outstanding postgraduate trainee by the Institute of Medicine. He then went to the UK in 2000 and trained in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine in Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Morriston Hospital Swansea and University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. After obtaining his CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training), he went on to work as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at Royal Glamorgan Hospital in the UK. During his tenure at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, he also worked as an Honorary Consultant Gastroenterologist at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff before moving to Nepal in December 2010. He was also a visiting faculty at Nepal Medical College where he taught Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures to postgraduate trainees.
