Anthony Close

Anthony Close has held a variety of positions in the past eight years. In 2013, they were the Founder & Writer of St. Pete Rising, an urban development blog covering the latest retail, restaurant, and real estate news in Downtown St. Petersburg. Anthony also held the positions of Student Government Senator and Director of Outreach for Chomp the Vote at the University of Florida, Campaign Finance Intern at Rick Kriseman for Mayor, and Student Fundraiser at Ruffalo Noel Levitz. In 2015, they were a Risk Analyst Intern at FIS. In 2016, they held the position of Management Associate at Bank of the Ozarks. In 2017, they were a Corporate Banking Credit Analyst at Raymond James. Currently, they are the Vice President Operations at Neptune Flood Insurance.

Anthony Close attended the University of Florida from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. Prior to that, they attended T.R. Robinson High School from 2008 to 2012, where they earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a High School Diploma.
