Ophelia Chan is a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting, financial management, and strategic planning. Ophelia has held various leadership roles throughout their career, consistently contributing to the success of the businesses they have worked with.

Starting in 2000, Ophelia served as the Assistant Treasurer/Accounting Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they supervised a team and was responsible for accounts payable, payroll, cash investment, and global netting. Ophelia also managed foreign exchange risk and ensured compliance with SOX regulations.

From 2004 to 2009, Ophelia worked as the FP&A Manager/Sr. Business Analyst at Newport Corporation. In this role, they led budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities for various business partners, providing valuable insights to senior management to drive decision-making.

Next, Ophelia joined Maquet Getinge Group as a Sr. Finance Manager in 2009. Here, they successfully managed month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and capital projects. Ophelia also developed new tools and processes to enhance planning, analysis, and cost controls across multiple departments.

In 2018, Ophelia joined Bio-Techne - Spatial Biology Division. As the Division Controller/Sr. Finance Manager, they oversaw financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations. Ophelia also supervised a team of employees and provided financial guidance to all departments.

Currently, Ophelia is working at Neptune Medical as the Controller/Director of Finance, a role they assumed in 2022. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
