Akshay Purohit

Akshay Purohit currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Neptunus Power Plant Services Pvt. Ltd, where responsibilities include overseeing the P&L for two business divisions: Machine Reliability and Metals Recycling, along with management of marketing, sales, finance, HR, administration, and IT functions. Prior to this role, Akshay was a Fellow at Teach for India, where involvement as a full-time classroom teacher in a low-income school in Mumbai provided significant learning and leadership experiences. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research: Engineering Management Systems from Columbia Engineering, and an International Baccalaureate from UWC Mahindra College.
