Natig Garakhanov

Natig Garakhanov has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Natig is currently serving as the Head of Procurement at NEQSOL HOLDING since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked at BP for almost a decade, starting in November 2009. During their time at BP, they held the position of Global Wells Organization - PSCM Category Lead in the BP AGT region, where they were responsible for conducting strategic sourcing, managing suppliers, and setting contracts. Before joining BP, Natig worked at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) as the Chief of economical analysis, forecast and salary department. Natig also had experience working as the Director of the export department at VESTEL Trade Russia and as the Financial Director at Gas-Turbine Power Plant Projects in Moscow at Zorlu Energy.

Natig Garakhanov has a strong educational background in the field of finance and economics. Natig completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Boğaziçi University from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in International Economics and Finance at Lund University, which they completed from 2004 to 2005. Continuing their educational journey, Natig obtained a PhD in Finance from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
