Hector Lopez

Hector Lopez is a highly experienced professional in economics, currently serving as Director at NERA Economic Consulting since January 2019, previously holding the position of Senior Consultant. Hector has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, where advanced microeconomics was taught to second-year Ph.D. students. Prior to these roles, Hector worked as an Economist at Rivada Networks, focusing on the Open Access Wireless Market and the Arpent Market, and served as an External Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank's telecom knowledge division. Additional experience includes consulting on high-stake auctions as Principal at Cramton Associates and project management at Cuasar Capital. Hector holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, alongside a Master of Science in Economic Theory and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
