Michael Dawes is a consultant at NERA Economic Consulting. Michael was previously a teaching assistant and undergraduate tutor at the University of Oxford from September 2014 to June 2018. In that role, they taught theory, marked weekly essays/problem sets, and managed feedback to students and course directors. Michael also TA'd for MPhil Development Studies, taught Quantitative Methods (2016-2018) including applied statistics using the STATA software package, and Foundation in Economics (2014-2016). In addition, they tutored for Undergraduate Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) finalists in the final year module in International Macroeconomics and Trade (2018). Lastly, they TA'd for MSc in Economics for Development, teaching Macroeconomics (2018), and Trade Theory (2017), as well as tutoring students who required additional help (2014-2015). Prior to that, they interned in Fixed Income Sales and Trading at UBS Investment Bank from June 2012 to August 2012. Michael also did work experience at UBS in July 2008.

Michael Dawes has a PhD in Economics from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge. Michael also has four A-Levels and ten GCSEs from City of London Freemen's School.
