Katie Waiters

Katie Waiters is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and public engagement within the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Since January 2021, Katie has served as Senior Manager & Public Engagement Manager, following roles as Business Manager and Assistant Programme Manager. Previously, Katie co-founded an e-commerce site, tagandtwine.com, where responsibilities included brand development, marketing, and product consultation. With a solid background at NERC dating back to 2003, Katie has excelled in various capacities, including Delivery Planning & Reporting Officer and Program Manager, focusing on event management, budget oversight, and research proposal administration. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Plymouth.
