Xin Zhang

Xin Zhang has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. They began their career as a Research Assistant at Duquesne University in 2004, where they focused on designing and synthesizing target compounds with optimized biological and pharmacokinetic properties. Xin then moved on to work at Anichem Inc in 2010, starting as a Senior Scientist and later becoming a Project Manager. During this time, they conducted custom synthesis for various clients and designed synthetic routes for target molecules. They applied a range of organic synthesis methods to their research. In 2015, Xin joined Organix Inc as a Senior Scientist II, where they designed, planned, and executed organic synthesis and purification processes for target molecules and drug conjugates. They also optimized reaction schemes, established analytical methods, and solved synthetic and purification challenges. Xin's next position was at Silicon Therapeutics in 2021, as a Senior Investigator in Medicinal Chemistry. They then moved on to Roivant Sciences in the same year, working as a Senior Investigator until 2022. Currently, Xin Zhang is employed as a Principal Scientist at Nereid Therapeutics.

Xin Zhang completed their education in the field of Medicinal Chemistry. Xin obtained their Bachelor's degree from Peking University in 2001. Xin then pursued a Master's degree in the same field from the same university, graduating in 2004. Xin Zhang further enhanced their academic qualifications by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medicinal Chemistry from Duquesne University, where they completed their studies in 2010.
