Russell Isaacs

Russ is a Cyber Warfare Officer for the US Army with more than 20 years of active duty service. He is an Army Ranger and combat veteran with a parachute insertion into Northern Iraq while serving as a Sniper Team Leader during OIF. He holds a clearance of Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information with a Counter Intelligence poly. Russ holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Security. He has experience developing and executing the recruiting, budgeting, education, and training to achieve the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to perform Coordinate Train Advise and Assist missions for the State of NJ and to fulfill a Federal mission for the US Cyber Command. Russ developed software tools while deployed under US Cyber Command in support of Task Force Echo to build, operate and maintain Offensive Cyber Operations infrastructure. Russ is also validated by Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to perform Risk & Vulnerability Assessments.

Russ is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a former SANS Mentor holding many certifications: GSEC, GCFA, GCIH, GNFA, GCIA, GCWN, GREM, GSNA, GPEN, GSTRT, Google Professional Cloud Architect, RedHat CSA, Sec+, CEH, CCNA, Net+ and more. Russ is also a member of the National Technical Honor Society, Cisco, Microsoft, EC-Council, and CompTIA professional organizations.
