Chris Harris

Chris Harris is a skilled software and data architect with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Scientific Data Architect at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) since January 2023, Chris previously contributed as an R & D Engineer at Kitware Inc. from July 2011 to January 2023. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at GLOBALFOUNDRIES and Language Analytic Corporation (LAANCOR), where notable work involved developing the flagship product QUADRA. Chris also operated a consultancy, Sepia Software, specializing in custom Java-based software development, and started a career at IBM United Kingdom Limited, playing a key role in the development of Websphere MQ and Websphere Message Broker. Chris holds a degree from Imperial College London, completed in 1999.
