Anders Elm Pedersen

Anders Elm Pedersen serves as the Head of Clinical Development and Senior Medical Director at Nerviano Medical Sciences since March 2023, leading efforts in clinical strategy and oversight for clinical stage programs. Prior to this role, Anders held significant positions at Almirall, including Global Clinical Lead and Director of Early Development and Translational Medicine, overseeing projects such as BNZ-2 for CTCL and autoimmune disorders. Anders has also served as Medical Director for Denmark at Merck Group, with comprehensive responsibilities for medical affairs across various therapeutic areas. Academic contributions include roles as Associate Professor and Group Leader at the University of Copenhagen, with a focus on Translational Immunology. Anders holds a Doctor of Medical Science, a PhD, and an M.D. from the University of Copenhagen and graduated from Slagelse Gymnasium, supplemented by studies at Copenhagen Business School.
