Anamaria Pelegrini

Anamaria Pelegrini has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Anamaria is currently working as the Global Operations Associate Director at NESsT since April 2023. Previously, they held the position of Gerente de Operações at NESsT, where they were responsible for overseeing IT, Legal, and HR operations globally, as well as supervising regional operations teams in seven countries across Latin America, Brazil, and Central and Eastern Europe.

Prior to their role at NESsT, Anamaria worked at Cultura Inglesa for a significant period. Anamaria served as an Executiva Senior - Gerente de Operações, where they played a vital role in organizing, monitoring, and supervising the growth and implementation of all Cultura Inglesa units in the capital and Greater São Paulo. Anamaria also led the expansion of the brand into new units in the interior of São Paulo and oversaw the M&A process for units in Santa Catarina.

Additionally, Anamaria worked as the Gerente da Divisão Entry, where they developed and implemented the Entry brand—a second brand of Cultura Inglesa targeting low-income markets. Anamaria was involved in all aspects of brand development, product creation, and operations management for the new model. Anamaria also had managerial responsibilities at the Tatuapé and Granja Viana units, leading their start-up and maturity stages, along with implementing a turnaround strategy for the Butantã unit.

Anamaria started their professional career as an English professor at The English-Speaking Union from 1985 to 1990 and English Center from 1981 to 1984. Anamaria also served as the President of the São Paulo Chapter of The English-Speaking Union from 2014 to 2020.

Anamaria Pelegrini has a diverse education history. In 1980, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Letras from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Following this, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics and its applications at the University of Hertfordshire.
