Lasse Herttuainen

Lasse Herttuainen is an accomplished professional in product management and business development with extensive experience in the chemical industry. Currently serving as Head of Product Management and Commercial Development at Neste since December 2019, Lasse has held various key positions including Senior Business Development Manager and Product Portfolio Manager. Prior experience includes Product Manager at Flinkenberg, where responsibilities focused on industrial process chemicals, and Senior Product Line Manager for Dry Polymers at Kemira, overseeing product portfolio and life cycle management. Lasse's research background includes roles as Senior Research Scientist at Kemira, Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Helsinki, and doctoral studies at the University of Birmingham, culminating in a Ph.D. focused on nanostructures and supramolecular chemistry. Educational credentials include a B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Helsinki and a Basic Course in Chinese.
